There is more to the book “Shaman Healer Sage” by Alberto Villoldo. Topics remaining include: dealing with Intrusive Energies, and performing Death Rites. But for the purposes of this energy healing blog, for now I won’t be summarizing these areas. This book was amazing and I have enjoyed taking an in-depth look at the preserved practices of the Inca shaman. We owe much to the modern-day Q’ero shaman of Peru. There is much that I gained from this study and much to be gained.
Soon, I plan on contacting The Four Winds organization to schedule an appointment with one of thier practitioners. I will let you know more later what happens.
For now, it’s on to the next Healing Energy type. I was on YouTube the other day, and found an incredible video series. It was led by Richard Gordon, Quantum Touch practitioner. Just from looking at the videos, it appears to be very straightforward in its approach to healing. I’m excited to get started.
I’ll post the first couple videos soon.
Chapter 2 – The Luminous Healers
The Q’ero, the last remaining Inka, observe an oral tradition. These are the people Alberto connected with in Peru – there’s is a 5000-year tradition of energy medicine. Both Antonio and Alberto visited many healers, learning about their healing practices. For over ten years, Alberto also obtained training with various medicine men across Peru.
The results of this research?
“We had only to knot these threads [the tapestry that the conquistadors from long ago believed was shredded beyond repair] onto the loom of the living shamanic knowledge…what emerged was a set of sacred technologies that transform the body, heal the soul, and can change the way we live and the way we die” (p. 29).
Some healers who became teachers/friends of Alberto (besides Don Antonio Morales) were Don Manuel Quispe, Dona Laura, and Don Eduardo Calderon. They exposed him to so much including the levels of shaman initiation, the organizing principles of the universe, and shape-shifting.
