Coming To The End…

There is more to the book “Shaman Healer Sage” by Alberto Villoldo. Topics remaining include: dealing with Intrusive Energies, and performing Death Rites. But for the purposes of this energy healing blog, for now I won’t be summarizing these areas. This book was amazing and I have enjoyed taking an in-depth look at the preserved practices of the Inca shaman. We owe much to the modern-day Q’ero shaman of Peru. There is much that I gained from this study and much to be gained.

Soon, I plan on contacting The Four Winds organization to schedule an appointment with one of thier practitioners. I will let you know more later what happens.

For now, it’s on to the next Healing Energy type. I was on YouTube the other day, and found an incredible video series. It was led by Richard Gordon, Quantum Touch practitioner. Just from looking at the videos, it appears to be very straightforward in its approach to healing. I’m excited to get started.

I’ll post the first couple videos soon.

The Extraction Process

The Illumination Process removes toxic imprints connected to the chakras. However,  in certain situations, something more substantial may exist in the Luminous Energy Field. As stated in “Shaman, Healer, Sage”, “…some toxic energies can crystallize, becoming nearly material objects, which are impossible to metabolize through the Illumination Process. They are like petrified wood, which no longer burns.
These crystallized energies embed themselves in the physical body, taking on shapes such as daggers, arrows, spears, and swords…these energies can be caused by anger, envy, or hatred directed at us by another person.

Alberto Villoldo speaks…

Here, Dr. Alberto Villoldo talks about the Luminous Energy Field and other topics we have covered so far. Parts two and three  covers Imprints and their effect on our lives. Very helpful.

Tracking for Imprints

Dr. Villoldo uses a method for tracking the imprints within the Luminous Energy Field. He employs muscle testing – a way of using the body to find out useful information about the body or what is going on with the individual subconscious. Alberto adapted this testing to track for imprints – he found this method could be very accurate way  of doing so, at least until one is able to “see” the field and diagnosis in that way.

Below are a couple of ways to muscle test: #1 – is to test someone else and #2 – is to test yourself. Try them out. I usually use a different method of rubbing the thumb and middle finger together, using skin resistance as the indicator of truth or not. But which every method used, I’ve either experienced or heard they work very well.

Another Method – Expanding the Luminous Energy Field

Alberto Villoldo provides another way to open up sacred space, outside of calling on the four directions. The alternative approach works with the eighth chakra – starting in a similar way to sensing the luminous energy field (“Reading Your Energy – 2/2/12).

Below are the steps:

  • Place your hands in prayer pose.
  • Raise them above your head into the eighth chakra (pictured above).
  • Separate your hands to open the chakra, turning the hands out, and fanning them down shaping a dome around yourself.
  • Welcome serpent, jaguar, hummingbird, & eagle. Thank Mother Earth and Father Sky.
  • [The time for energy healing work]
  • Reverse movements to close the sacred space.
  • End with hands in a prayer pose.
  • Release serpent, jaguar, hummingbird, eagle. Thank Mother Earth and Father Sky.

How To Open Sacred Space

There are a couple of ways to open sacred space. The video post on 2/15 shows one of them. The video demonstrates shamans in various scenarios up opening up sacred space.

Here will be details for doing so:

Use this prayer (or something similar).

To the winds of the South

Great serpent,

Wrap your coils of light around us,

Teach us to shed the past the way you shed your skin,

To walk softly on the Earth. Teach us the Beauty Way.

The winds of the West

Mother jaguar,

Protect our medicine space.

Teach us the way of peace, to live impeccably

To the winds of the North

Hummingbird, Grandmothers and Grandfathers,

Ancient Ones

Come and warm your hands by our fires

Whisper to us in the win

We honor you who have come before us,

And you who will come after us, our children’s children.

To the winds of the East

Great eagle, condor

come to us from the place of th rising Sun

Keep us under your wing

Show us th mountains we only date to dream of

Teach us to fly wing to wing with th Great Spirit

Mother Earth

We’ve gathered for the healing of all of your children

The Stone People, the Plant People

The four-legged, the two-legged, the creepy crawlers

The finned, the furred, and the winged ones

All our relations

Father Sun, Grandmother Moon, to the Star Nations

Great Spirit, you who are known by a thousand names

And you who are the unnamable One

Thank you for bringing us together

And allowing us to sing the Song of Life

As you start the prayer, address the south, face that direction. When addressing each of the directions, either take the smudge stick and fan it with hand or feather in that direction, sprinkle scented water, or raise your hand to salute each direction, shake rattle.

Then touch the earth and look upwards in to the Heavens to signify  connection with Mother  Earth and Father Sky.

[Healing session occurs here]

Close the Sacred Space by thanking each animal spirit.

Now the text, states if you wish to connect with a particular archetype, to leave a specific one open instead of closing that direction. The request will be to have the animal enter you and assist you (or whoever you are working on) with the session. But it only mentions to “blow” the energy into the crown of the person you are working on. Not how to do it for yourself.

Sacred Space

What is this Sacred Space? It’s an environment that you create conducive to healing. This area is intentionally peaceful and calming.

Within the prayer, the four cardinal directions — as well as — the sky and earth are mentioned: South (serpent), West (jaguar), North (hummingbird), East (eagle or condor), Mother Earth, and Father Sun. Each represents a specific energy or spirit. Tomorrow, I will review some details about these archetype animals.
